「2021/02/16　Safety Dance - Glee Cast Version (23 Dance Scenes Mashup)」
のSafety Danceにはオリジナルがあった。

原曲はカナダのロックバンド「MEN WITHOUT HATS」が1983年にリリースしたヒット曲だった。

その曲を、米国のテレビドラマシリーズGleeがとりあげ、モールの中で行われたフラッシュ・モブの中で歌われたバージョンだった。

都会の中のモールでの突然のダンスと地方の農村を背景としたダンス祭りの違いが面白い。


歌詞は、KM MUSICでも　Gleeのフラッシュ・モブでもオリジナル動画の中でも、一貫して重要な役割を果たしている。

ある現実の中で、囚われないためには踊るべきだと呼びかけている。自分を取り戻すために、自分を縛っているものから解き放つためには、踊る事だと。
